Integral Inspirations is a grassroots organisation comprised of California Institute of Integral Studies alumni, and many others, working in collaboration to manifest integrally inspired dreams. We believe that it is our potential to achieve an intentional transformation in consciousness, which might be both inevitable and essential if we are going to continue the human journey. Integral Inspirations is dedicated to playing its part in this unfolding.
Integral Inspirations produces quality products that feature the insights and wisdom of many highly respected individuals. These are costly endeavours and the sales of the products help to offset a portion of the costs.
Alan Baiss
is the founder of Integral Inspirations and the producer of four films.
Alan graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies in Integral Counseling Psychology. He pursued a good career in psychotherapy for many years before the death of his parents and a close friend within a year lead him to contemplate what else might be possible and to create space in his life for something new. This is when he closed his practice and began producing documentary films. His earlier film, Integral Consciousness: Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga and how Haridas Chaudhuri brought it to the West, has become a reference for the history of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga and Haridas Chaudhuri’s contribution.
After three trips to India, and countless hours of organising profoundly fascinating interviews, the current film, Who Do You Think You Are? is a natural continuation of his devotion to the inquiry into humanity’s profound evolutionary potential.
Joseh Garcia
is a documentary filmmaker, musician, and writer with a PhD in East–West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (USA). In Brazil, he has worked as a psychotherapist specializing in Transpersonal Psychology.
Guided by a multidirectional curiosity that moves between art, philosophy, and spirituality, his creative work seeks to bridge inner and outer worlds.
He is the co-director and composer of the film CONSCIOUS and Who Do You Think You Are?, the singer–songwriter of the EP Bossa a Trois, and the author of the doctoral thesis Music as a Vehicle for Self-Transformation and the poetry book Nu no Labirinto (Naked in the Maze).
In addition to his documentary work, Joseh blends his sensitivity, global musical influences, and training in sound healing to create evocative soundtracks that deepen the emotional and spiritual resonance of his films.
