Who are we?

Alan Baiss
Alan Baiss is a documentary filmmaker and the founder of Integral Inspirations. 

Alan received his Masters in Integral Counselling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco. After graduation he pursued a career in psychotherapy for 12 years before the president of CIIS engaged him to make his first film. This early film, Integral Consciousness: Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga and how Haridas Chaudhuri brought it to the West, has become a reference for the history of Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga and the early days of the California Institute of Integral Studies.

With each documentary new inspiring questions have moved Alan to make the next film and he is now co-producing his fourth feature length documentary focussing on humanity's potential to achieve a transformation in consciousness and a new narrative to live by. His films have been screened on four continents, appeared in numerous festivals, and have touched audiences in universities, conferences, high schools, monasteries, ashrams, and a variety of multi faith centres.

Alan's films are strongly influenced by is passion for spirituality, philosophy, and the search for a deeper truth and benefit from the pleasure he receives from videography, editing, and storytelling. 

Joseh Garcia
Joseh Garcia is a documentary filmmaker, musician, and writer with a PhD in East–West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (USA). In Brazil, he has worked as a psychotherapist specializing in Transpersonal Psychology.

Guided by a multidirectional curiosity that navigates the worlds of art, philosophy, and spirituality, his creative work seeks to facilitate an integral experience.

He is the co-director and composer of the film CONSCIOUS and Who Do You Think You Are?, the singer–songwriter of the EP Bossa a Trois, and the author of the doctoral thesis Music as a Vehicle for Self-Transformation and the mystical poetry book Nu no Labirinto (Naked in the Maze).

In addition to his documentary work, Joseh blends his sensitivity, global musical influences, and training in Sound Healing to create evocative soundtracks that deepen the emotional and spiritual resonance of his films.
